About Marty Malliton
"When I'm in the creative process, my heart races, my eyes open widely and my hands move quickly. It's a very exciting experience. And my ideas are limitless. I can hardly wait to finish one creation to begin the next. I hope you feel that excited when you view my website. Every image may not do it for you, but my commitment is that at least some will grab you and not let go."
Marty loved the magic she found in her first Brownie camera when she was seven. As an adult, she worked for a company that made creative gift wrap and merchandising elements. She found herself often traveling from her secretarial chair in the executive suite to the art department, collecting scraps of colorful drawings and sketches from the artists' trash and taking them home for her walls.
Marty was educated at University of North Texas where she majored in art and photography.
After graduation, she was employed as a designer until she started her own graphic design company which she ran for fifteen years.
Marty uses the images she captures on her travels as inspiration for her art. Bold, ambitious colors prevail.
